every time i turn my bike off the time resets, I got a new battery today cuz the old one was f'ed, so i know its not that. anyone have any suggestions?

Check your ground...if it's not grounded properly...if will trip as if disconnected.
Make sure your cables aren't frayed.
Make sure the connections behind your LED display box are not loose.

Buy a new bike!
I agree with MapJr on the ground and wiring issue.
