Anyone know what could be the problem here???
Everytime I shut my bike off the clock and trip odometer reset themselves when turning the key back to the on position. The clock goes straight to 1:00 and both trip odometers set to 0. My main odometer is not affected.
My F4i is an 02 if that makes a difference.

Have you checked your battery recently? Is the bike starting fine?
my GUESS is if your bike is fine possibly a blown fuse? although I would think the clock wouldn't turn on at all if that was the case...

The bike starts great everytime. The battery is also brand spanking new. I guess I could check to make sure the wires are all securely connected....like the ground. I'll check it out when I get home.

did anybody fiddle about with your electrical wiring? sounds like the wire that should provide current to the dashboard has been routed through the key on/off switch instead of going directly to the battery.

I just bought the bike this past weekend so I can't be sure. I guess I was too excited looking at the bike to notice the time was not correct when I looked the bike over.

as kiker14 suggested, check the fuses. looking at the wiring diagram, i think it's fuse F (labeled "meter") - it should be a 10amp. maybe the whole dashboard gets its power elsewhere once the whole thing has started, although it doesn't really make that much sense.
