CLutch Problems??

WHen put into gear the bike just shuts off ..idles good and everything  but once i pull the lever in and kick into gear the bike shuts down everytime on start up. I can get it started and going after I move the bike forward a little for some reason but only sometimes and cant ride because dont want to worry about the next time ill have to start up.. NE ONE got ne knowledge in this area??
