cold noise

Hello all, I just bought my first f2 tonight, It runs great but when i crank it after setting a little it has a grinding sound in the motor, after about a minute it all but stops making the noise, I don't know alot about these motors but i am leaning toward timing chain. Has anyone else had or heard of this trouble?
Also if anyone knows where i can get one i need the upper right fairing?

Ebay might be the place for your fairing, but do to the age of the F2 in general, finding unscratched ones will be tough.
The sound you mention is probally the camchain tensioner

try looking at thge timing chain tensioner there easy to replace and inexpensive
