hello all, i just bought an 03 600rr in the pearl yellow (as if you couldnt tell from the login name) and i love everything about it. I will probably recieve alot of negative feedback for this, but this is my first bike. i rode dirtbikes around my friends ranch in high school, and this last semester my friend let me ride his Ninja 250 around and i decided that for me a 600 was right for me. My other friend let me ride his 600rr and i fell in love. Just wanted to say hi and i hope to learn alot from the "community" of this site.

Welcome to the board! No negativity from me -- I didn't pay the $$ for your bike. Perhaps a word of caution ... the RR isn't a Ninja 250 so treat it with respect and you'll be o.k. Post up some pics of your ride when ya get a chance.

oh yeah i have total respect for the bike, and against the typical stereotype of a college guy with a street bike, i dont attempt to try things i know that i cannot do, im not trying to impress anyone with stunts or speed. THe bike is 100% my responsibilty so i cant really afford to get tickets or wreck it so i baby the crap out of it. thanks for the support.
