So last month I have a dog attempt to attack me as I posted.  Yesterday I am crusing down the freeway and I am 20 min into my trip.  Nothing special, just crusin in the right lane when suddenly I see a movenment in my visor.  No problem right?  Next thing I know I have this bee flying around in my face.  It was mostly just on the visor and walking around and I am on the freeway with no exits near.  Man I just had to take whatever this thing was going to do to me.  Where I was had no shoulder that would be possible to pull over.  For about 3 minutes this thing just flew around in my helmet.  I finally was able to get off the damn road.  Yes, I tried to let it out but everytime I flipped up my shield it just flipped up with it...plus you can't breath at 70mph on the freeway, lol.  Anyway, no it never did sting me and I was able to get the helmet off and it flew away.  But damn, I just had to sit there and talk to myself for a few miles before I could pull over and let it out.  I don't mind bee's, but having them on your face when riding a bike is not cool.  Anyone have this happen ever?

haha nice... good thing nothing happened.. My helmet is so tight around my face that there is no room for anything to get up there. My old helmet allowed some bugs to get in there.. i only experienced it duriing city riding so i could leave the visor open lol.

Did you have your chin vent or either of your vents on the top open?  For some reason I always find if I keep those closed I don't have a problem with bugs getting in the helmet.  It doesn't seem like either of those vents allow any REAL airflow IMO but it could just be my helmet...I dunno.
