So me and my 2 other buddies were out riding around in omaha, NE and it was a nice day out. We got held up at a stop light for awhile and these two different cars were egging us on to do a burnout, so we lit up the tires for about 30 seconds each and completely filled the intersection with smoke, it was a breezy day so it all was swept upwards after a couple secs. everybody was cool and cheerin us on from the cars and the light turned green so we moved on and saw two cop cars waiting in traffic in oncoming traffic. I was gunna stick around to see if they would turn around or not so i just turned off into a neighborhood and took a couple turns hoping they wouldnt follow. Well my buddy on his F4i saw every turn i was making and my other buddy on his RR saw all the turns he was making. So they brought the cop right to me when i pulled over. My heart dropped when i saw the cop car, i was sure my bike was impounded for a few good reasons (no motorcycles license yet, no plates, no registration) I only had my bike for about a month and a half at the time. So he asked who did the burnout and my cousin on the RR took the blame for all of us which was cool, then he saw i didnt have any plates so he asked me a bunch of questions, and all i had on me was my drivers license and insurance card on the bike. He chuckled a little bit at our story of why we did the burnout (our tires were cold and slippery) and let us go without even a written warning. And this old guy prob about 70 across the street was funny as hell, asking us if we just "ran from a pig", we told him we did a burnout and he just bent over wheezing and laughing. I am extremely grateful that cop let us off because that woulda been hell getting my bike outta impound. So props go out to him for being understanding and cool about the situation which was stupid on our part.

That's luck... no license and he let you go.

Wow, the odds of cop letting you off in that situation are pretty slim. Better get some plates before your luck runs out.

lol wow thats amazing, that reminds me of the time where me and my buddy got pulled over for speeding and popping wheelies. well the cop got out of his car and started asking a few questions and then out of nowhere he started talking about how he owns a goldwing and he pops wheelies on that thing like nothing, then he let us go. it was quite funny.

its all in good fun, tires can be easily replaced. I was extremely relieved when he said he was gunna just let us go with a verbal. And ya he started talking about his buddies that have harley's that do that all the time at bars. Damn nice guy for sure
