What I hate is the "progessive" movement's argument that "It's the year 2007, we should embrace homosexuality, as we have grown as a culture...."

So because it's 2007 we are supposed to have some how "warmed-up" to gay people? Over time we are to simply give up and accept gay people for the immoral, unnatural perverts that they really are? Just look at cannibalisum. Certian cultures have been eating human flesh for centries, yet if they were to partake in the act on the streets of Ogunquitt, ME they would surley be jailed. Eating human flesh is far more natural than ass-sex with men, yet we still haven't warmed up to that idea.

When cannibals are allowed to eat human flesh whilst walking down the street, only then will I accept homosexuality as anything more than an unnatural perversion. 

i just dont get how someone else's preference matters enough to any of you to make you so angry towards the issue.  do you really care wtf i am going to eat for lunch too?  does it matter if i eat chicken or beef?  who gives a $hit, they are gay, unless you are worried you are gonna be one of them, wtf does it matter what they do at home (yes i can understand PDA, but thats not our topic).  im sure each and everyone of you does something i dont agree with, but that doesnt affect me so why bother?  for the record, i dont necessarily approve of it either, but thats not my choice to approve.  you guys talk about how much you hate gays, yet you come to a public motorcycle forum to talk about them, i wonder whos really thinking queer?

i love the idea that most guys have that just because someone is gay that means they want you, dont flatter yourself, just because you are straight doesnt mean you want every chic you see, the same way that every straight chic doesnt want you, neither do the gays.

First of all, being gay is perfectly natural, and fits into the evolutionary theory... Survival of the fittest states that only the best will be able to breed...


As for immoral, well, thats all subjective, and really no one can truthfully say that being gay is wrong.

Gay Marriage being wrong? The concept of marriage has been altered from its original state. At this time, at least in this country, its more of a business contract. I dont see why lifestyle should stop someone from getting tax breaks, and benefits (medical, etc) for their partner, regardless of sexual orientation.

I am completely comfortable in my heterosexuality and if someone is gay I have no problem with it as long as they respect my sexuality..
hell my wife is Bi and its fun when we get some nice young 20 yr old chick to join in on us...... hell just last Sat my Wife gave my # to this hot ass waitress (not that I expect a call) but hey you never know. hell one of the best friends my Wife and I ever had was gay as gay can be.... he fronted $500 so my Wife and I could have our reception hall reserved for our wedding..... he expected nothing... and hell just the fact he has the balls to come out when people are bashing gays makes him more of a man than some gay basher.

Not saying that I have a problem with either, but BOTH of those groups are getting lots of attention nowdays, and a great deal of it is not pleasant. Is that to say that because the general consensus towards these groups is justified because of current political atmosphere, but since the media and entertainment says gays are ok, we are all supposed to shut up and agree?
 
To say that there is no group of people or ethnicity, social standing, or something that you have no bias against is a lie. Everyone has feelings about different people, and not all of them are good. I think its sort of funny how so many of you act as if you are above this. Like you have evolved past the feelings and reactions that occur as part of human nature.

i disagree with homosexuality itself, but the difference with most people here is, we dont feel the need to bring it up.  i have the "i wouldnt want to be with another guy, but you do, so thats cool with me" mentality about it.  i cant say that i have any gay friends, but i have a cousin who's gay. and i love him like all the rest of my other cousins.  i may think the thought of him with his guy or whatever might not be pleasant, but i also think having sex with fat girls is disgusting.  i dont go around declaring my hate for fat girl fu*kers, which i know for sure some of my friends have bagged some chubbies before.  what people do in their bedrooms doesnt concern anyone other then the 2 concenting adults inside.  id doesnt affect me, or you.  you dont like it? you think its wrong? great, then you dont do it..   try not to let things bother you so much man

Threesomes don't work in my experience. My wife's friend came over who I had wanted to nail since high school. We got drunk and all ended up in bed together. Apparently me and Tammy went to town and kinda left my wife out of it. My wife left and came back like an hour later to see us still going at it. I woke up the next morning barely remembering anything but my wife didn't forget. She is still mad at me and this happened during St. Patricks day.

I think we all have to seperate out the assholes from the groups. A gay guy who gets rude is not a bad person because they were rude, but because they were an asshole. Just like there are millions of white/hetro people who are assholes - not because they are white/hetro but because in every group there is an asshole.
 
The next comment is about freedom. I'm free to do what I want (so long as it doesn't harm others), and I think that most of you would feel the same way. The number of people saying we'll fight for our freedoms and go to war for our freedoms. Well - let the gay people have their freedoms. If they want to get married let them. If they want to have kids and show they'd be as good a parents as any other couple, let them. (There are plenty of examples of bad hetro/white parents - but we don't say all hetro/white parents are bad - so why can't we just call them assholes and just make the requirement to have kids that you aren't an asshole)
 
As for getting it on in public - that's wrong no matter who you are... again it's not wrong because you are gay/hetro, it's wrong because it is inappropriate and you are an asshole.
 
See what I mean? There is nothing wrong with the group, it is the individual assholes we have to worry about... and assholes are in every group.
