I'm having a hard time finding anyone who makes a cage for the '06 CBR 1000RR. I see cages for up to '05 but nothing beyond that. Anyone know of a manufacturer for this part?

you can find them all over the place now... Try 905 racing, or do a google search for motorcycle cage, that will bring up a ton of hits, most of which will have a cage for you...

Racing 905 $249 - $270
I searched google for results and seen another company called Freestyle
but couldnt find anything yet for the 06-07 CBR 1000RR

Freestyle Ingenuity makes a cage for the 06-07 1kRR...there website isn't updated so you have to call or go to your local Freestyle Ingenuity dealer. I have one on my 06 and I wouldn't change it for any of the other cages.

These are the only pics I have right now. You can kind of see the cage though...these were taken with my sidekick, i'll take some higher resolution pics this weekend.

Thanks for putting up some pic. I crashed my 06 a few months ago & I am rebuilding it. I have to spend a bunch of money to
replace all the Fairings. So I was think of getting a cage just so if something happens again it wont do as much damage! I think
I am going to get one!

I just started stunting...I know a 1000rr probably isn't the bike to start stunting on but I figured if I can stunt a 1000RR I can probably stunt anything. As for it being better frame sliders, definitely. My bike went down at 45MPH and slid for a good block and all I needed was an upper fairing and a tail...I was hurt more than the bike...mind you I wasn't stunting when I went down, I got hit by someone that was riding with me. A cage is definitely the way to go...unless you're carving the canyons than I definitely would not recommend it.
