custom carbon fiber

at first i was looking at tank pads, and found almost everyone i like is that carbon fiber LOOK. After research i found this company that sells carbon fiber sheets with a sticker backing. Doesnt look too hard, but i was wondering if anyone has tried this on their bike? Im gonna buy a sheet and create my own tank pad, and if i have any left over might add some other accents to it.

Im sure there are many other companies that sell similar stuff. Anyone have any recomindations before i buy this.

I know too people who have done this.It sux and it will fade  quick.When it was new it looked cool now it looks like crap

all real carbon fiber will fade under sun conditions to some extent. Where did they get theirs ? If done  correctly and with a high quality material with the proper glossy finish it should not look like crap after a couple years.
