I got this off of the how-to section on the forum. It explained on how to make custom turn signals out of your rearsets using individual led's. Well I did mine today and it was very simple and quick. It looks sleek and clean. Here are some pics.
This is a rear view and they are very visible to drivers behind.

As you can see, led's are pretty bright and not easy to miss.

They Look great, I think you should put some insulation around those wires though. They are low and will be exposed to water if you get cought riding in the rain.
How about a pic that is not a close up. I want to see what they look like from a distance.

Here's a view from behind.

I know the bike's dirty and doesn't have fairings, but they'll be back from paint next week.

Very nice, Bikelitez actually does this for the less mechanically inclined, for a small fee. I'm thinking I might try this mod myself...

Custom doesn't always have to be "unique"...that's the word you're looking for. Custom reffers to something that was put together using creativity and improvisation.

I have invested more time and labor into this bike than money. I am doing my best to make this bike my own style on wheels. Thanks for all the good comments.

looks nice bro, I drilled a set in mine too last summer, not too difficult, just have to try to get them to all aim in the same direction.
Not sure if the how to post said to use some silicone or not, but I put creat silicone caulking type stuff in the groove there in the peg to hold the wires in there and protect them from moisture.

That looks nice man, good job. Oh, and thanks for the idea about the calking, I was still trying to find out what to seal out moisture with. Thanks.

I did this to my 929 and love it. Although I got my led's off ebay and they are clear but shine and amber light which is quit a bit brighter than the red.
