Hey guys i need some help customizing my bike, i bought it brand new and i only put about 2200 miles on it its an 07 600RR and im wondering how i should go about doing this. I was thinkin about some new ferrings i found some Repsol ones, but i don't know what kind of exaust to get and i know nothing about power commanders, and what kind of air filter to get, was also thinking about some fender eliminator kits, but any help would be greatfull im in iraq right now and have nothing but time and money on my hands. Thanks

first figure out what u like, and make a plan of what you want. then figure out what kinds of things you need..
rearl fairings arn't cheap, coudl always get your stock ones painted, or get a spare set and get those painted, the kits u see on ebay are fiberglass and holes are usually a little off and alot stiffer and hard to fit then stock, exhuast there are a billion choices, first do u want a slip on - just basically for sound, or performance, if just slip on dont worry about a PCIII
also a PCIII does nothing without a custom tune, so remember to add that into your budget, air filter is pretty useless without a full exhuat, and a PCIII - with custom tune, so basically figure out if u just want sound.. or perfomance..
air filters - popular is K&N but i think for motorcycles.. BMC race air filters are a better choice..
remember to keep money also for maintence and tires and that sorta thing..

i ordered my Akrop. Evolution system several weeks before they were released to the USA from
www.indysuperbikes.com at a price they got in trouble for. $1,400 they are now selling them for $1,560 or so, but they are the sweetest exhausts out for this bike.
SERIOUSLY, check out
www.indysuperbikes.com my exhaust on some of those other sites you have is going for $1,800

figure out what u like..u can start by giving ur bike a clean look and adding some flushmount signals eliminate the rear signals wit an intergrated tail light. Check out Vsxkits.com. they have some real hot intergrated taillights with animation, i have one and its great let me kno if u need pics or anything. i like my 2bros slip on so i live by that.. great sound light weight. There are a number of things you can do, do u want a race look (maybe number plate, sponsor stickers) or something custom (extended swingarm bla bla). choic is yours be creative..good luck

race look yeah but i don't want to look like some punk ass poser, i want the bike to be as fast as it looks. Im going with all Repsol Ferrings that already for sure, and im getting a new lid a suomy

you do need a bigger bike if all you want is straight speed. you will spend tons of money, and still be no where near a newer 1,000
dont give up on the 600 though. take some classes, and go to some track days. get better at cornering, then tell him you want to race, but do it through the turns!

exactly.. a 600rr will never beat a 1000rr ... with expierence riders that is

Well see i wanted to buy a ducati 1098 but then i realized my bike is almost payed off and you can't really put a price on a hobby because if you do that then its no longer a hobby, im 21 years old no payments except this bike payment just sitting in iraq saving money waiting to get my ass back to colorado so i can sit there for 3 months get out of the army and go back to cali and ride, i just want to make all the other 600 out there know that they can't keep up with me all my buddies back home have like ninjas and r6's i wanna straight make them look real stupid

california has tons of tracks! get your ass on some of them and learn to drag the knee. thats much more of a panty dropper than someone who can twist the throttle on a straight track
