so im playing in a $33 no limit tourney on pokerstars...557 people buy in, 5 hours later, i find myself at the final table...were down to 7 handed, i flop an up and down straight flush draw...i go all in, GET CALLED BY A PAIR OF FIVES, AND THAT ENDS UP BEING THE BEST HAND! WTF! i was running sooooooooooooo good all night...and to lose to a pair of 5s??? first place was $3133.13...i was so ****ing close!!! somehow the $543 for 7th doesnt make me feel any better...

Are u 100% sure that you had a straight flush? Can't you check your hand history? Then make a printscreen and send it to the people behind the screens.

that sucks! whats your screen name? I'm on pokerstars now, I just started playin online again since big brother shut PP down.

Pair of fives beats nothing anyday. the game sucks, 90% of people i know are $400+ in the hole due to online poker, good players to, it just draws you in, I preffer to keep my self and my money away from the poker table.

i had a straight flush draw, i didnt have it yet...any Ace, 6, or heart with 2 cards to come wouldve given me the win, but it never got there...

i love it...i dont think theres anything more exciting than sitting at a poker table with AA and some guy staring you down with his hand about to push all his chips in...pokers been good to me so far, combining online winnings with live winnings, id say im up about $12k lifetime...

probably not today...i cashed out the 500 that i won, and still left about 85 in my stars account, but im beat, i was playing that tourney for 5 straight hours, and i need some sleep lol, ill prolly play one of those soon though...let me know what your sn is too

i used to play alot, got a casino a hr from here so go there most of the time, $2 $5 no limit cash tables, or $20-$100 tourneys,

dang..soo close...i feel your pain.....same happened to me..although only a 10 dollar tourney...flopped a set of 5's ..go all in...guy calls with AQ..another A on board..so after flop my set cracks his aces....until runner runner Q's.......son of a.....haha..oh well..gotta love internet poker eh?
have to check out those gift cards too..shoot good idea....i am playin on sportsbook . com now.....still can use a credit card on there. And i can bet on the games all in the same spot...have to check out the pokerstars place

I certainly feel your pain. However pushing in with a draw, especially if you are out chipped, is not the wisest decision.

I was low stacked and had only about 8 times the big blind at that point, I was hoping for him to fold more than anything (which would have been the smart thing for him to do realistically considering he only had middle pair, and a call was risking over half his chips) it was the best hand I saw in a while after the flop and I was thinking, either he'll fold the blinds and antes to me, or he'll call like a donk and double me up cuz I had about 18 outs with 2 cards to come...sucks when I can't hit an 18 outter when just one table earlier I had my pocket aces cracked by KJ when he hit runner runner straight cards on the turn and river...gotta agree with kartkid on this one "gotta love Internet poker"
