Daytona bike week:)

I'm sure that im not the only one thats going to daytona bike week this year.. I went last year for a week and had the time of my life. This year I am going for two weeks. If anyone has the opportunity to go I would highly recommend it. So.. Are/Have you gone?

ill be there,  have been a million times and never get tired of it. i dont go to mainstreet though i go to the track and wathc the races, and do demo rides. born in daytona and raised in orlando

I'll be there!!! This will be my 1st time, looking forward to it. Any recommendations on wether getting a room in Daytona Beach or out in the surrounding towns?

redbbwoy, yeah im from orlando but ive been in iraq for a while. ill be back in time for bike week. me, d2dgraphix, and jonnyjon are gonna get together for a ride when i get back along with a few others.
 
 
 
cycdup, your best bet if you dont mind a drive is to get a room away from daytona. you would be lucky to find a room even if you started looking now.  look in sanford, lake mary, orlando area. if you run about 85 mph from sanford your looking at 30 min, lake mary, 40, orlando 45, altamonte springs will be good too. if you get one in altamonte your looking at 35-40 min. also have cocoa beach try there too.

I usually stay right on A1A at "Inn by the beach" its pretty nice but it fills up very fast. You'll definatly enjoy yourself.

I'm definitely goin. 1st time this year. Like f3 said tho. You'll be VERY lucky to find a room now for bike week. And most rooms will run you between 1800 and 3000 for the week... But that's on the main strip with bike security.
 
Watch yur bikes down there. Outragous amounts of bikes are stolen every year... even in broad daylight.
 
I'll be trailoring two bikes down from the snowy hell that is Indiana.

I wish, I'm moving to Daytona a few weeks after bike week but can't make it down that early.  I'll definitely be there next year though
