Ok, well long story short I had someone pull out in fron of me on my F4 about 2 months ago. I am just now looking to get back into the swing of all things riding.
Anyway, I got a smokin deal on an F4i so I picked it up. Now I have som eold parts from my F4 that I want to fit to my F4i.
I just want to know what the difference is between the f4 and f4i's exhaust. According to all the sites they are different, but it just doesnt seel feasable for honda to change it that much. Will my old exhaust fit? Or am I shit out of luck.
Oh its a slipon not a full.

The F4i may have some more emmision control stuff on it. Does the F4 have a plug (sensor) in the midpipe? Does the F4i? If so, that is one difference. As far as size of pipe (diameter), I am not sure.

The exhausts are different yet they are the same. The mid pipe is different between the two. You can put the "whole" exhaust from an F4 on the F4i. You can not put a slip on from the F4 on the F4i unless you use the rest of the exhaust. Hope that makes sense.

No the F4 does not have a plug on the middle of the pipe.

And neither does the f4i. I think the piping is just different from the header to the can

the pipe on the f4i , i think you will find the mid pipe is relatively straight, while the F4 it has a bend at the end that connects to the headers.... i have both stockers at home, but thats 3 hours away, but you cant put one on the other without the headers to match....

Actually, I found that Erion sells just the mid pipes for like 130 bucks. Anyone know of a better place to buy a midpipe from? I havn't had any luck finding anywhere.

goto an exhaut place and get one made, shouldnt take them long to bend and fit, you may have to polish it though... just a though..
