Do you guys put your own tires on?

I was just wondering. Cycle Gear, the only local shop besides stealerships that I know of in my area, want 40 bucks per tire if I buy it from somewhere else or 20 per if I buy it from them. I have been looking online for better deals but if I can't do it myself, I really won't save any money.

I don't, but i have a really great service center near me that does them for 20/tire off bike.

I take my bike back to the dealer I got it from. Free balancing, mounting and lifetime-discount on all parts ordered through them. I don't trust myself mounting my own tires. Too much at risk to find out I didn't do it right.

I can't justify getting or afford the tire changer that I want and the effort it takes to change your tire is way more than the 30 bucks I pay at my favorite service center...Take your wheels off and take to a small bike shop (not a dealership).
