So call me a geek but I'm a Dr. Who fan from way back. Baker was the best ever!!!
Well Sci-fi is running a new series. Looks to be a decent remake.

haven't seen any of the pilots yet, but i've been looking forward to it meself. i hear it's been running for about a year in other countries -- don't know what took so long here.. but yeah, loved the classic stuff back when.

the previews look ok.... It was on last night, but I didn't have time to watch it. Anyone?? How was it? I'm not much of a sci-fi geek... but a few things from the past I can watch.

I remember the original Dr. Who, starring Tom Baker. Do you remember Leela? She was the British version of a hottie. She was actually pretty good looking for the era.
By the way, I just bought the DVD collection for Greatest America Hero. Some are as great as I remember them. Some I can't believe I watched. All in all it's a great buy if you see it somewhere.

Ya, Leela and the mechanical dog, K9. She was hot because she ran around in those rags most of the time
Of course the best looking sidekick was the American chick that ran around with Peter Davidson. He was a horrible DR but had great taste in buxom hotties
