Are they better at cornering? I was following one of the rider and we were ahead of everyone. I noticed that when we go into turns at the same speed, my peg will scrape first before he does.. Was wondering are dual sport better at cornering? Of course on straight he had nothing on me hehe.

I think the only reason it could possibly make a difference is when you are cornering so hard you are pushing on the peg with your foot. Don't see how dual sport pegs could make that much of a difference.

They sit up higher so that they can go in the dirt. That'll keep it from scraping pieces in a curve. Still, your 600RR ought to out maneuver practically anything on the road.

Hello. I have a peg 650 and a cbr600rr. the peg has nothing on the cbr as far as cornering, but still for a dual-sport it's very adept in the twisties.
take care

As mentioned, dual sports have higher pegs. But also, (unless you're a already an avid track rider) you could probably improve your body position to clear the pegs better.

Don't kid yourself, power is nothing if you can't carry the corner speeed.
