I had my 03 f4i (no engine mods-only a pipe) dynoed last night, and i pulled 105.5 hp at the wheel and 45.6 fp torque. I'll try and put up a copy of the chart as soon as i can. Has anyone else had theirs dynoed and if so what were they at?

damn. not only does your bike look good its got some pretty good power for an f4i. most f4is in this forum who have little mods and have had it dynoed didnt even put out numbers over the 100 mark. for example someone on her dynoed an 05 i think he had a slip on and he got like 95-98 hp. by the way i like your rims it looks like there a nice metallic red.

it was reemo_2001 he dynoed his 05. didnt say he had a slip on so im guessing 100% stock. and he put down 93 hp. and i didnt forget i know all dynos are different and elevation and all that come into affect. but still 93 hp out of a 05 and your 03 is putting down 105 with a slip on thats pretty good. most new true 600s like 04s put out around 105. ive seen new 05 kawi 636s put down over 120 to the rear wheel stock.

thanks, i went for the chrome red finish, but it came out darker than expected. which turned out to be better.

Just a correction the 636 do not quite put down 120 ponies...one was at a local shop with pipe and a PC3 and it was putting down 115 after custom map

lol no correction needed. not all bikes motors are the same. one 636 may put down 110 another may put down 120. ive seen a 05 636 dyno sheet where the 636 only put down 108 to the rear wheel. the bike with the 120 was dynoed right infront of me. and put down 120.4. stock.

but for the sake of the argument. he was really putting down 130. i forgot to add the hp his hotwheels stickers added . lol but same thing ive seen 03/04 636s put down over 115 stock. in the same respect there was even one that dynoed in a 101.6 or something like that.

FACK! must be the paint job dude! that's a factory beast if i've ever heard of one.
mine is cali model so it's real low. with akra f/s and custom map only yielded 92.7 and 47 torque or something like that.
mind you this is with a f/s...very low numbers...but the thing seems to pull on all sorts of bikes and reel in others like the new RR. must be the rider...ahahahha

Don't forget results also vary alot from dyno to dyno

Didnt mean to criticize, however, I know that bikes vary just didnt know they did that much. I was thinking a hp or 2.

I'm going to be looking at hooking my 95 F3 up to the dyno we have at my auto school and was wondering where you guys hooked up the tie down straps to? would anyplace I can get to on the frame work or is there better places than others to hook it up at? Thanks for anyones help I can get in advance.

altitude and atmospheric conditions play a huge roll in dyno numbers

BINGO! and not only that, it also depends on TYPE of dyno.

Yep. Dyno numbers are good for three things:

1. Selling Bikes
2. Tuning
3. Benchracing

The F4 vs F4i dynos:

The F4i are more consistant in their hp ( go figure with the fuel injection ), but only seem to be a few hp more than the F4 (and only because I've seen some poor F4 dynos...).

I've seen a F4 dyno at 101 hp (hindle pipe), simular torque numbers as mentioned.

As said - as long as you're having fun on the bike the dyno means nothing :D although certainly handy for tuning. :D
