I'm an ex-offroader that just sold his lifted truck so the sportbike scene is completely new to me. I've been riding motorcycles for years though. I used to own a HD Sportster 883. But found that the comfort on trips sucked, the gas tank was too small, and too slow. Eventually I plan to go back to HD on a bigger bike in the next 5-10 years.
I'm doing some research in preparation of buying a 600cc motorcycle. So far the 600F4i is ahead in that race. The comfort of the passenger seat is a factor so the banana seat on the '04-06 seems to be a sensible choice. But, I'm trying to figure out if '01-03 will be just as comfortable with the Corbin system so maybe I can save some $$$ going with a slightly more used bike. Also, I am 5'6" so height is a factor and the Corbin seat should help with that also.
Anywho, so far this site has helped me a bunch already so keep up the good work.

welcome to the forum! where in Indiana are you? if comfort is what you're after the F4i is a great choice... not to mention it's pretty quick too
