Well I just got done putting it on. There was ALOT of stuff to remove when putting it on I thought. I am glad that I did it. Saved some cash and got more familar with the bike.

Now for the gasket. The stock one looked great. There were tiny little spots were the stock pipe had crushed down on the gasket. They did not go in though, they stuck up just barely from were the channels in the stock pipe clamped. I just put the Yoshi pipe on the same way as the stock with the groves matching up. When I torgued the bolt down it went down right away and seem to be on there good. All in all it went ok. And the results. DAMN, it is a hugh increase over stock. It looks so much better, sounds tens times better and seems that it has a little more kick also. It was nice that the Yoshi install instructions came with a dyno sheet also. Was nice to see that it really makes a difference.

OK, so ONE more question.

How would I know if I have a leak??? I looked at the clamp, looked like it was seated good. I listened to that area when I reved the engine and didn't hear any kind of leak. Is there someway that I will visibly see something?? Just curious.

So I basically just need to check around where that gasket is, where the new pipe meets the header pipe?? If there is something there then I need a new gasket. Well I will see what happens. The gasket looked perfect, very small ridges from the stock pipe. I can't imangine a new one would be that much better. See what happens.

Or just wrap your hand around the connecting part. If you feel air coming out you got a leak.
