OK, I made the mistake of getting excited when I saw an EBay item for sale for a full Akropovic exhaust system for a CBR600F4i for $750. But when I made my bid, I didn't see that it was for a '06... and I have a '02. They both are "four-into-two-into-one exhaust system feeds single high-output polished stainless steel muffler", but will it fit?

it should, the only difference is the passenger pegs that mount on the 06 are wider then the 02 but they mount in almost the exact spot so i'm 99% sure it will fit.
It may also come with an opening in the midpipe-area for an O2 sensor, which, unless your bike is from California, will not have. If that's the case, you'll just need to find a bolt that fits in the hole, which is pretty easy.
