hey guys, i just got back from a cruise on a hot day and road the bike sorta hard. A few blocks from my house the bike started acting up a little. As i was cruising at like 5k the rpms would spike down to 0 than back up and down to 0 again. over and over and once in a while would stall out. the f1 light came on in addition to the red light next to the left turn signal and i forgot my manuel at school so im clueless as to whats going on. is it possible i was overheating even though i was only at like 210 because i thought overheating was like 240. advice would be appreciated thanks guys.

210 is definitely hot for that bike, there is no way it should be reading that high. Check and see if your fan is working it should come on at about 109.
(I ride a Canadian bike, so if your readings are in fahenheit as opposed to celsius like mine I'm sorry disregard the post)

two days later and the bike is still dying out all the time, ive decided there has to be something going on with the injectors. does just running injector cleaner through the gas tank get the job done??

Turn the bike on with the bike still on the kick stand and count how many times the FI light blinks. Post that up and we can tell you what is going on.

Are you serious? The F4i runs best at 220 and can run up to 225 before the fan kicks on. In America, my bike rides just fine up to 225 and no overheating. What kind of gas do you run? Is it at least 91 octane? I run 93 and never have issues.
