Yea, well you can only buy so much gear, and it doesnt hurt to have something original or flashy on your bike. Its not like he they are wanting to put an Evo wing on a Honda EX. There is some practicality to it (depending on color). I think its a neat idea to set your bike off a little and make it your own. Just my .02

Good ****ing grief people, if you don't like the guys product, don't buy it. Or STFU and start your own thread.
If the two people who can sell them have a complete kit price and want to list them out as far as specs, warranty, install, everything, cool. Let them. But this has been some tacky shit, and so far from what I see from AACstyle, they have put a lot of time into the development of these, and have a good product.
Silentalero, if your product is better, great but you are pretty tacky bro. Start your own thread and don't shit on this guy's.

If the product is good quality and works/looks awesome, word of mouth marketing on this site will ensure you do well. I will pick up a red set in the after the holidays if this is the case.

Other things I'd be concerned about is it a licensed business or some guy making stuff in their basement in their free time. Licensed, insured, warranty, patents, taxes, etc etc...
I think they look pretty damn cool, but all you guys could make your own really cheap if you did some digging. That's all they did. Just exciting gasses in a tube with small current of electricity for illumination.
I also like to look out for the little guy, hate seeing the uninformed get taken advantage of.

Its not always about the cheapest product. And if you do think that, then don't bitch when you lose your job when it gets outsourced to India.
Hopefully that $79.00 + $7.95 shipping and handling is helping pay for somebody's salary/health insurance/401K.
600% profit is not that unheard of. What do you think the profit margin on high end electronics are. How much do you think it cost Panasonic to build that $2999 plasma?
Anyhow... AACstyle, I will order a set of red as soon as you post that they are available.

Just curious, what made you decide to make them for the F4i right away, instead of targeting the more obvious RR or R6/R1 or Ninja market? I mean don't get me wrong, I'm glad you did, and I will more than likley pick up a set after the Xmas rush (and when I can see the yellow) but I find it odd that you started with the F4i.

what i am guessing ( but ive been outta the motorcycle thing for a few years) is because they have round headlights maybe? i mean like rtound headlights inside the housing.

First off my posts arent tacky. Sorry if i look out for your guys best intrest when a new product is offered. Its making consumers aware and giving them options. Just because you pay more doesnt mean its a better product. He has yet to list the mm size of the actual tube and also swears the silicone is a good enough shock absorber to induce the hits from a leap in the road. Hence the thicker the tube the more resistance to it breaking. I dont think most people realize how easy these will break...literally if you push 1lb of force on it.
My problem is he states these facts to knock my posts and say im trolling. Yet ive proven him wrong on every "fact" he has. The thing he misses is cars actually have a stable suspension and a higher resistance to bumps in the road. A bike can take a nice jump off a dip or lump in the road (we've all been there) and the entire bike goes with it. ALso people drop their bikes from time to time. Bad enough you have enough to fix, the halo's shouldnt be another add to that list. Especially at $80 a pop. Hence the need for a thicker tube. Im sure anybody who buys them would rather not have the tube break and now has to rip everything apart again just to replace it. LED may not be as bright but will be alot more durable and last alot longer, guaranteed. Its basic physics. Personally the cathode is great but having over 20 tubes in my car i break em constantly even with a poly covering...they are just that fragile.
Oh and the paying for 401k? health benefits? Sorry but looking at his website, he isnt a store front, its an online store only and these are drop shipped. He is not a licensed business. If he was his company would be LLC or INC, which is nowhere mentioned on his website or on any product. So basicly its a home run shop that ships. So that 600% profit goes straight into his pocket. Aka gouging customers.
but whatever if you guys choose to get ripped off by all means. I just enjoy pointing out the reality of business to unknowing consumers.

Honestly ask yourself what time in developement? You take measurements, you call your distributor and have him make the halos to the size, plug into an inverter and ship.....seriously, there isnt that much into this as you guys are thinking. Obviously test fit em, which should take all of 2 minutes after you get em and now you have a kit. Its not like you have a team of engineers working daily to get these made and have to pay them.

We are a storefront, the shop is located at 533 Julia St, in the New Orleans warehouse district. Feel free to come by and I will give you a tour like the room we sit in and think of ways to rip off innocent consumers
We ARE a licensed and insured business, the LEAGAL name of our company is AAC Enterprises LLC (DBA Advanced Automotive Concepts).
Your "facts" seem to be off smart ass.

We don't understand how bikes work? You dont even know who the hell I am.
We have been doing this for YEARS you have never made halos for anything and you try to say we dont realize what we are doing? You havent even realized yet that you cant just stick CCFL in headlights and make it work. Good luck with your kit bro! You are going to have lots of pissed off people when the thing dosent even work!
We also have a LIFETIME warranty on all of our rings, if they go out we replace for FREE. I know you have your conspiracy theory that we are trying to rip people off but I think you just dont understand what goes into a kit like this.
Good luck, and NO I wont post the mm size because you are just going to knock my kit off because you are still scratching your head trying to figure out how to even open your light.

so your only LLC? meaning that lifetime warranty is out the window the second you go out of business or decide to pack up. Might want to incorporate yourself if your serious about owning a shop. Im sure its "in the works right?"
Oh and btw im gonna sit confused? Im sorry, let me crawl from under my rock and learn to start my car. You dont know me or anything about me either. Im pretty sure I can take apart a sealed headlight. Once again you've proven your ignorace. You say your not gonna say the size of the tube? Im willing to bet you didnt even know they came in different thicknesses untill i mentioned it. Considering thats a factor in the tubes themselves. But you already knew that and everything there is to know. Hence why you kits last longer and are better than everybody elses because you price em higher right? The quality of these are the best on the market. But im sure yours are better because your tubes are special and custom made right? There is no custom making other than the ring size and tube thickness, so get off this high horse that there is some huge secret behind them. It might work on some kid who just wants to plug them in but your not fooling anybody. You even said it yourself, it comes with the bare rings, clips and "silicone"....
Anyway im sure those employees need 401k with the broad range of products your offering...Ill be in the store very soon
But dont worry, the kit will be out soon enough
