I know there have been a few posts about this, but I need to do something to relocate my plate with stock exhaust (04-05). For right now I am just using the stock inards rigged up to hold a plate. I really want something clean and simple, mounted up under the tail, and I dont care about signals. I was thinking about mounting a bracket to the battery box. Also what are you guys doing about your heatshield and tip? I took off the heatshield and tip, and it looks better, but has a huge gap between the tail and muffler. I was thinking about painting and trimming the heatshield, but dont know if it will look okay. Please post pics up.

as far as the stock exhaust.....not sure.....there is a pic of one from
www.hardracing.com below...it has a compitition werks F/E kit on it with the bar mounted signals...

I did something very similar. used the aluminum for some sort of guttering (about $3) and formed it to go from the battery box down and hold the liscense plate. Basically, it is the same as wolfpack, but I have my plate faccing more verticle (keep the ccops happy)

black04rr, I just installed the CW fender eliminator kit on my 06 and did some custom trimming on my heat shield to try and get a cleaner look without getting rid of the shield. I read a few posts that mentioned that the stock exhaust runs hotter then aftermarket ones, so until I lose the stock exhaust the shield will stay. I'll post some pictures of it when I get home tonight so you can see what I did. Later, Mike
