Because here in the UK we are not allowed to have the licence plate anywhere but at the back of the bike, and being a cheapskate, and while I have the original pipe still attached I have created a modified rear fender to remove the majority of the ugly bits just leaving the plate hanger and plate light bracket.
I haven't found a fender eliminator that I really like yet so this seemed to be the best option at the moment until I get an aftermarket pipe.
Just needed a dremel and a bit of filing - it's still not finished but shows what I have done.
It's still plenty strong enough as I have left most of the strengthening fins on the back of the unit in place.
Just need to get it back on the bike now along with some LED arrow indicators and we'll see how it looks.
May help those with not too many £/$ to throw around.

Since this pic i`ve added some carbon fibre effect vinyl to it which makes it look alot neater.

Made a small plate out of aircraft alloy measures 12 x 12cm,(Vinyled that too) small bend mid way so its at the right angle and then bolt the plate light back on by itself. Stock or aftermarket indicators fit back on the holder.
