Ha... Fox the thing is I didnt want to polish the front lip. I like the way it looks like this, its my own little creativity.

It wouldnt have cost any more money do to the front, that wasnt the issue, I just like the way it looks split it up.

....and it's that kind of attitude that will STRIP you of the ROTM award!

Hey man, he's just giving his 2 cents. I think we can all agree w/Blue's earlier statement that if you're happy with it and like it, then that's all that matters. The bike is sick either way. I always give points to people that are "against the grain" and doing only one lip, to me, is what most people WOULDN'T do, so hell yeah!.............Even though it doesn't look as good.

I know, I wasnt hating at all. I asked for opinions, and expected them from both ends of the spectrum. Again, all opinions welcome!

No 'tude homey.

Much obliged... I took her our for the the first time today since the makeover. Ride sooo nice and smooth. I think the most noticeable thing is the throttle response, and increased tightness. By that I mean the slip in the clutch and brake levers, shifter, chain, etc... I got all that tightened down to a tee, so its just flawless. It was like 50 today, and my power race mediums were hot the whole time, I am so freaking happy.

No cutting involved at all for the vortex sliders, they go on like cake.

Here she is, all washed up in the sun!

Welcome.... I made a mistake. The sliders I have are Shogun, I am really sorry about that. I would go with the shogun crash kit, which comes with the sliders, bar ends, and rear axle spools. Its great, cheap, and no cut. I would go with this kit because it covers the whole bike against lowsides. If you want to go further, go with the motovation axle and fork sliders, but those will run you some dollars.

Looking at the newer pics..........I have to say that I really don't care for the "truth" on the windscreen. But the pics look much better in the sun.

I agree fox, I am a little iffy on that as well. I put that on it december, then took it off, then put on another one... I dont know how long it will last. I just feel like it looks too plain with just the black windscreen...
