you liar.  You and I both know it was ManBearPig's fault that the site was down.

I swear, I checked cbrforum about every 3 minutes when it was down just to see if it was back up yet.  At first I thought it was something with firefox, but it did the same thing in IE.

Are you shitting me?  I just spent the last 12 minutes clicking through 4 pages of this thread on dialup.  At no point does anyone explain what happened.  eff this.

I got lots of work done, I've been working 10-12 hour days since last Thursday...had 3 deadlines starting Friday.  I am glad the site is back up.

I got some "banner 82" virus warning when I tried to log on...site was effed!!

I think it's all that porn that Kikepiz posts in the Cleavage/Thong thread...lol...

Now that it's back up and running Im going to bed its been 144hrs since my last good sleep....

I didn't receive any virus message but it keeps saying the site is under maintenance. Not satisfied, I was like trying to check my connections, read all those crap in the 'windows help'
 
I even thought that my company had found out I'm browsing this site while working and had banned it for good.... that was close..

WTF!!! That was a sick joke!!!!
 
I kept getting some little screen that said this web site was a phishing web site or some BS.

actually we were working hard to upload new software that would allow for a updated banner since you were all complianing so much. we recieved a file to use from a "well known" member which we couldnt tell at the time (despite previous efforts to check) that the file had an encoded virus that once uploaded crashed the servers instantly. at first we thought it was a hacker but after some network diagnostics and back logged data we found out what happened. that member is now no longer with us and security got a much needed overhaul but sadly no new banner ....

Who was it? Come on... You can tell us. Pretty please?
Happy to see the site back up. I have to say I was pretty bored at work without you guys. I tried going on to Cumminsforum.com. But it was worse than staring at the Under repair page. The net is usless to me except for this place.

Or is this a tactic or plot to reset all our post counts since there was an issue regarding this lately... too bad it didn't happen.. hahaha  

god can you imagine the amount of post whoring that would go on if we were to reset everyone's post counts? It would be INSANE!!!

Ditto, my laptop is infected with "Trojan Horse" and some "blasckster.scr", it all started after I attempted to look at the site on Saturday morning. I have an IT guy at work looking at it, but he's not supposed to be working on personal shit at work.
 
Havoc, you have any hints to remove this stuff from my laptop since it sounds like the server got the same stuff?

Yeah i was missing this site.  I even got back on the Dakota board to pass the time at work.  Glad we'rr back up and running.

I was alright and didn't know the site was down till the day before yesterday. I came into school and tried to get on.   NOOOooo.....
 
Were back in action now though ladies and gents!

I never got any virus warnings... I did have some weird cases of it spawning new windows of itself... that was odd. Maybe I got lucky.... but I've had no issues with my laptop or computer at home.

Oh yeah... and it's good to see you all again!

I never got any virus warnings either, and I also use AVG.  FireFox did freeze up 9/10 times though.  Maybe it was just your IEers that got all the whacked out messages.  I'm thinking file corruption/failed upgrade and someone forgot to make backups.
