Please adivse!
I know women only, however... My girl wants to start riding too! She has plenty of quad seat time and some dirt bikes as well. I want to give her my F3 to start, and ride (so she can choose what she likes as she learns.)
SHe (being 5'4") wants or thinks she should start on a ninja 250... Any input for her? I dont want her to short change herself!
Thanks!

I didnt start on a 250 because i knew i would get bored with, its what she is comfortable with tho. Once she is ready step her up with a 600.

Let her choose!
I went for the CBR 600 F4 as my first bike cos I knew anything slower and i would soon get bored! I've had my bike for about 3 months now and already want something faster...

My husband bought me a 250 to start but I got so bored with it really quickly. The 250 is OK if you're just starting to learn to ride, which is what I was, but if she already has the feel for the shifting and has experience on quads, she should be fine on a bigger bike. Leave it up to her, it's her comfort level that's important.

I just bought a cbr 125 and I'm 5'6 and I find it uncomfortable to ride it's hard to shift gears a 250 ninja is a nice bike but it's up to her I know ladies that sold there's because it had to much power for a first street bike but she will learn what her taste is as she rides.
