I have problem with fork leaking,oil leaks on fork tube from dust seal.By the way motorcycle is '07 and have only 400 miles on dash.Any idea what is causer of my problem.

are there any chips on the fork piston (the really shiny part)? feel for them. it doesn't take much to cut the seals.

just replace the seal (or do both while your at it) call your local shop or look in your manual for help on how much fork oil to put back in..it took me about 40 minutes to do both of them...and skill level is like a 1 or 2 tops, tutorials on how to do it, just google it.

07... go to dealership.. warrenty make sure to tell them you dont do wheelies

did you buy it new?  sounds like its got some issues...  you get on it much?  just outta curiousity, how many miles?

400 miles is crazy... has to be a fluke... take it back and warrantee that stuff!

If he "Just replaces the seal" and there's a nick in the forks, it going to leak again, count on it.

Knight i do agree but if under warranty the dealer ship can fix that as well

how is it out of warranty at 400 mile and less than 1 year old? or is it more than 1 year old?

I saw you guys asking if he gets on it much.  Is there any way the dealership can tell if you've been "abusing" the bike, and if so will this affect the warranty, also what is considered abuse? Is getting on it wfo from light to light considered abuse. Its obviously not the smartest move, but these bikes are built for performance. Thanks dudes.  Nitwit out.

Problem solved with cleaning the oil seal.
