So I bought some motovationusa frame sliders and tried to install them using the instructions they had on their site. it looked straighforward only it's not so easy after having a couple of brews. Well long story short, the hole was off so I had to file it down to fit. The fairings fit now but I have about 1/8" - 1/4" gap depending on which side of the slider you look at. On the way home I started thinking about ways to cover it up and it hit me. I can take a piece of plastic and create a ring around the slider, only problem is I'm not sure where to get the plastic. It'll look kinda like the ring that's around the gas cap only around the slider. I think I have already seen such a ring but I'm not sure where. Do you any of you have any ideas as to where to get the ring or how to make it?
Thanks

Look on the forums about Frame Sliders. Someone else has done this exact thing and it came out really good.

i have the answer you're looking for mang...
those nice rings to go around the slider...you can use furniture grommets for that!
like on desks where they cut a hole in it to let the wires run though...they put the plastic around the hole!
TADA!!!!!!!!!...now...go...do...
