I just recently replaced my front master cyclinder but am not getting any pressure throughout.  Anyone know how to make it work?

Did you bleed the brakes?

Not yet, was about to try later on today. Should that be the only problem?

I can't believe what i'm reading. you replaced the master cylinder and didn't think it necessary to bleed the brake system? dude, at this point i don't even want you attempting a bleed for fear you'll fuk that up.

Bleed them. Should be simple enough to do but bring a manual with you JIC. Get back to us on the results.

Yeah that will fix your problem. Bleed the system and you should be all set. Def want to check the manual to ensure you bleed them properly.

ok, just got the brakes working. Thanks, but now i'm getting white smoke from my pipe...any ideas what this could be from? Bike was on its side for like 10 minutes after it went down.

10minutes?!?! Did you let it take a nap?! lol Maybe oil is getting into the cylinders? Or would that be black smoke? I thought white was burning oil though, but what do I know. /shrug

Have you changed all your fluids? Some may consider it unnecessary, but it couldn't hurt. It could be oil that go on top of your pistons and it just needs to burn off. Check your oil level to make sure it's ok and let her run for a while to see if it goes away.

If its white smoke....let it burn off. Had the same prob and burnt it off on a short ride.

If its black smoke its from running rich, Blue smoke is from oil, and white smoke I believe is from coolant or condensation.
Does it have a sweet smell or no smell? Sweet smell = coolant = bad news if it doesn't go away.
If it is condensation will go away (or lessen) after warming up. Usually only see this in cold weather though.

It was white and had a sweet smell but it is gone now. it went away after the first ride.

I agree here.  I think you should have someone check over your work.

I agree with the way knightslugger said it. You need to step way back from the motorcycle so no one gets injured or killed.
