this says it came off of an 87, but the guy said he knows it will fit an F2-F3....anyone know any truth behind that? anywho, still pretty nice looking, although he omitted an image of the 'weld'.

yeah, it'll fit. honda didn't start using 2 bolt front mount tanks until f4. in fact, uses same everything, petcock included.
