Look on exoticsportbike.com or pipecity.com, they have pretty good prices.

it's a cake...just make sure you tighten things to spec and don't force anything. make sure you tighten header bolts to specs. they'll seem very low but you need this due to heat and expansion, etc.

From what i`ve read in the manual the only awkward thing is removing your rad to get at all the places, shouldn`t be beyond most home `mechanics`. I`d give a few of the site sponsors a buzz see if they can hook you up with a deal, superbike supply and Apex motorsports seem to be able to get most everything.

I have the Service Manual for my bike....good to hear that not a hard mod. one last questions then? is there a race version versus the normal full rs-5? cause 7-800 on mot sites versus 1400 on exautic?!?!?

the rs-5 is one of the best zorsts for the rr mate, imho. my mate over the pond has one on his blade and it sounds awesome, what i will say is, DON'T set the system up slack then tighten in sequence, tighten the headers first then the link pipe mate, it's a lot less hastle and it's a piece of piss to do, just dont crack the seat unit taking it off .... it sounds obvious but it's easily done.... thats from experience man
Coops
EDIT: if you aint got one i reccomend getting the power commander to suit your new zorst setup too, it sorts out the mid range problems...

If there is a choice go for race, all the way.

hardracing.com has a good write up with photos on installing a full system on the CBR1000rr.

if you're not planning on racing or anything...f/s on a bike that's mostly for the street and canyons is a waste of money.
so just be aware of that. why are so many people talking about sound? if you're looking at a f/s, you should be seeking performance mang...not sound.

Tahoe...I soooo use to think the exact same thing...all I could think of is some poser with a coffe can hanging off the back of their '96 Civic Hatchback.
But, have you almost been hit driving down the freeway??? Dude, sucks. Louder is safer.

I think what Tahoe was saying is...
The full system is for racers, not the normal street rider. We don't get noticeable benefits for the money we pay out for a full system. If you're looking at changing the sound, just go with a slip on. If you're racing and really need that extra couple of ponies and weight loss... full system.

everytime i ride! they're not going to see you for sure...as for as hearing you that is debatable.
just gotta ride offensively...like frogger action...don't even wait for them to make a mistake so you can counter.

yo watch the torque specs on the header bolts...it's not much at all and sort of freaked me out but you gots to leave room for it to expand.
yea ride offensively, actively head to all the open spots and get the heck out of there as fast as safely possible...cagers never see us mang....so don't wait for them to do something wrong and then react, which is riding defensively...do the opposite and live!
