Always like to be less flashy, yet still stand out from the crowd. Went with a streetfighter look for my bike. Still waiting on black sliders, red anodized -1/+2 sprockets, and looking for a nice small digital guages, but its getting there. Let me know what you think, good or bad. Thanks guys.

Sorry, I like the "before" better.  I think it's mainly because I like the shiny blue better...

I know, I know --- if I don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all....

OK, y'all can flame me now.

I have to agree, i do like the before better....but i think the after would be 100 times better with the side farings on...but thats just because i cant stand naked bikes....but thats me...i do like the black better tho

I like the flat black, and i would like it better with full fairings also. Also imo not sure that red sprocket is gonna fit looks wise very well. Imo if your gonna go black go all the way black.

looked like a clean bike before. You should have sold it or bought another if you wanted to turn it into what it is now... you know? SF doesn't look bad.

I think the street fighters look great.  I am split on the whole naked bike vs. a full fairing bike, but I like the "mean" look of street fighters.

I like it. How about some bar end mirrors? Post some more pics when you get a chance I would lie to see more angles.

Looks good, (although I'm more of a full fairing kind of guy)
I'd say leave the frame showing (Maybe anodize/paint it a dark red to go with your red/black concept) and either get a small black piece to cover the engine, or paint the engine flat black.
Also doing the swingarm and wheels in flat black would give it an even meaner look.

Keep in mind though at night you'll be even more invisible than we normaly are.

To each their own but it looks like your bike was dropped and you have parts on order.
I guess it's a work in progress. If you want the SF look you may want to open up the rear
end somehow. I'm curious without a windshield do you have problems with that? Seems like
you would take alot of bugs in the chest.

Looks good man, I dig it the way it is, I'd only think the more you do the better it'll look, to a point.  I can appreciate any kind of ride thats had some work put into it, but yea, looks nice.

where did you get the belly pan?
Fathead_03

Well, for the belly pan, i actually just cut the lower stock fairings. I need to clean them up a little still. im also going to make a little piece from fiberglass to cover the inside of the belly pan, make it smooth. As for the sprocket, i ended up finding a 46 tooth, so no red sprocket. its for sale now on craigslist. i am installing the 14tooth from tomorrow. yeah, id like to powdercoat the frame black, and perhaps have the engine black. I had a 65 chevy panel chopped 6" bagged, layin body, that was all flat black(all done by me, got burnt down, now doing a suburban the same way). Most recent ride was a jeep cherokee all black, black wheels, black windows, blacked out lights. Now i drive a reg cab short box black sonoma with a black grill, black tonneau, black lights soon. I love the all black look.  Ill try to get more pics. Again, i love all comments, good or bad.

I love the streetfighter look.  Your bike looks great, and it takes balls to chop perfectly good fairings.  Keep up the good work.

Holy sh!t that looks almost exactly like my F2. Mine had been laid down so I made it into a streetfighter to keep rebuild costs down.  I did mine last summer and looks identical.  I even cut the side farrings into a belly pan just like that.  The only differences I can see is that I have the stock black wheels, a two brothers carbon pipe that I cut down a bit and bar end mirrors.  If you want a really good aftermarket gauge look at the Veypor, I have it intalled and I love it.  The bike looks good in my opinion, a little different from the crowd!

any pics of your bike, Hooligan?

I'm still very partial to full fairings, but what you've done is unique and makes the bike seem more aggressive. If you like it, than that's all that matters. Good job man.

Here are some pics of my bike.  I took a close up of the Veypor guage I was talking about.

I can appreciate the work, but I liked the original color.  I also prefer a full fairing, and I am not a big fan of the streetfighter look.  Your opinion is the most important, though.  Keep rockin' it.

wow, yeah, our bikes, seperated at streetfighter-ing birth. crazy man, absolutely crazy. im finishing my belly pan, covering it up in the front, so you cant see the inside, and have a lead on an exhaust, can and header, just no mid-pipe. thats just crazy.

and if someone could tell me which tag i use from photobucket so they show up instead of links that would be great. dont want to upload on here cause they are huge pics and i dont wanna resize.

EDIT: use the [img] tags.
