Doesn't seem like it'd take too much work to get on the road, and I'm just looking for a bike to ride around on while I get my Ninja prepped to sell (screw you, Kawasaki). What do you guys think?

So wait, does the thing actually run then? Because if it does and you have the time to put in to it, for only $500 why not?

shit, the plastics are probably worth $500 alone.  if i had $500 and the time, id pick it up too.

Hell yes any running bike like that is worth 500.  +1 to rasco on the plastics.  Besides insurance will be cheap as well

Dude... I paid $1000 and my '90 looks more jenkity than that.... mine runs awesome.... but heck you could sell the plastics and then pay a mechanic to fix it for you and still have money left over

Hopefully he isn't being a douche and sold it and is too afraid to call you back.  If that is so, just burn his house down.
