I came across a 2003 CBR 600RR that I think is a pretty decent price. It's black, has 3,000 miles, new rear tire, and an extended warranty until 2008. The guy is asking $6300 OBO for it. What ya guys think? Is that a little steep or is he in the ballpark? Either way, I would try talking him down a little, I was just wondering what your guys' thoughts were.
Thanks, Dills

i would try to talk him down a lot. you can pay about $1500-$1700 more and get a brand new one with no miles on it.

Hello and welcome to the forum Dills. That's a bit high for an 03. You can find them for less if he's not willing to go down.

I have no clue where you're at, but look at this one. IF you do some research, you can save enough money to buy all the gear you'll need to ride.

If you can get him down in the $5500 - $5800 range I think that would be fair. Kelly Blue Book says in OH it is worth just over $6000 at retail price.

I'm located in Wisconsin. How much do you think he spent on that extended warranty? That's pretty valuable isn't it?

yeah it's a little steep. i agree with 05tribal... if he can knock at least $500 off... i'd consider it.
