GOT INK?

I know the Cruiser scene (Harleys etc...) and tattoos go together hand and hand considering I only live about 25 miles from Sturgis. My question is this: How many of you guys and gals are sporting any ink? How much and what design? I have my left pec, left arm(half-sleeve) and armpit done. Several thousand dollars invested!! Most of us ride with appropriate gear so the tats are hidden. Anyone care to share?? I'll post some pics of my ink as soon as I can!

I got 10 total, I get mine done at the same shop every since I was 20. I'll post pics too when I can also.

I gots no toos. The wifey has a few. I don't dislike them or anything I just am too scatterbrained to commit to something so permanent. 2 years ago I almost had a Busa kanji tood on my arm ... now I ride a Honda. Enough about my lack of ink, let's see you guys (and girls) tits, er, tats

A lot -- the last one my wife got was around 4 square inches and cost $50. Dude did an excellent job - she always goes to him cause he is talented out the wazoo and keeps his place spotless.

I get my work done at Thrash's art studio. The going rate is $125.00/hour. I have approx 25 hours in the chair! Kinda like chips--can't stop at one!!

ya know I dont have one but my friend has one thats a half sleeve, it is all about cerial killers... kinda creepy no? If I ever got one, it would be something to the lines of "Deaths certian, life aint..."

I've got some tribal on my wrist, tribal wings covering my upper back and my family name on my lower back, all black ink. I'll be going back home for vacation next month and depending on cash flow am thinking of getting a sleeve or half sleeve. Looking into some Japanese art this time round.

I got some ink three all together, fox head with flames on lower back, on left inside forearm "Life Is Short Ride Hard", and on right inside "Live To Ride Ride To Live" just to warn any first timers they are very addicting cant get just one. PEACE

I just have a tribal armband for now. I got it back in 1993, before it was the "cool thing" to do. I want to do some kind of half sleeve, but i'm not an artist. I have ideas of what I want, but I just need to find someone who can design what I want. Most tatt artists charge alot of money to draw out ideas. So I want to find someone to do it for me, then I can take it in to get inked.

I've got two... a teensy lil yellow daisy on my left ankle that I've had for years... and a pretty good sized black tribal piece on my lower back/upper butt that I've had for almost a year. That one will be added to soon -- I've got a design I like, but want to customize to blend with the piece I've got (and to make it "mine.") It's tribal, but it's not the solid black -- it's the metallic look, with a large lotus in the center... should be gorgeous when it's done, and will cover my lower back.

My wife has 3 and I got 4, one on the outside of my right leg about 4”x 5”, one on my stomach THAT ONE HURT it’s about 10”X10”, one on my left forearm about 3”x10”, and one on my right arm/shoulder about 3”x4”.

Son's name in old english letters on bottom of right forearm
Name in chinesse on left bicep
chinesse symbol for Eternity on right ankle(wife has someone in same place)
Tattered american flag with In Memory of FDNY 9-11-01 in a circle around it.

There is one reason I will NEVER get a tat.... my buddy has the band logo Poison on his back and he gets soooo much shit. I am not against them, I just know its forever unless you got a nice bank account.

Got one on my left arm. It is a tribal symbol. I am trying to design something for my right shoulder down to my elbow (like a half sleeve).....Some sort of tribal flames. Got the itch.

Hmmmm... interesting that you mention that, as Chris and I are in search of a design for this same idea (we're talking about upper/center of back). He's not wild about the Chinese/Kanji stuff, but we're looking at a couple Celtic designs, one of which is the Celtic symbol for "eternity."

I got 8. A celtic design wraped around my right wrist (I designed myself), tribal band that goes only halfway around my upper right arm, half moon with stars on my upper right shoulder blade(my very first at 16 with a homemade tattoo gun, I don't recomend that method..lol), tribal sephere on the back of my neck, small nautical star behind each ear on neck, 7 kanji symbols that are the Seven Virtues of Bushido (I consider it as one tat), and a really ugly european style dragon on my lower left leg (it's so bad you can't tell it's a dragon..lol). And more tats to come, need $ first. Soon I'll have a full back piece and half sleeves and fix the one that is on my leg. (all of my creation, so noone else will have the same design) I had that happen to me. I went and got my upper arm done, then a few days later a guy I kinda knew went out and got the same dang thing on his upper arm. A**hole. I hate copy cats.

Tats are forever. Make sure you really want one, cuz laser removal is more painful.

Wow, sounds like you have quite abit of work. You do all the tats yourself or did you just design them?
