Hi all

The last time  i touched a motorcycle was in October 1987 ...a Kawasaki 750 turbo , I sold it , forward September 2007, we were at a friends place for diner and he had just bought himself a zx9, he threw the keys on the table saying, go ahead try it.. I knew that if I touched a bike again , I'd want one..and always said that if I got another it would bea cbr1000 hurricane, checked on the internet and there was one for sale near my place...well i boutgh it,  it looks like brand new and I have been enjoying it for the last 3 days... I'm glad ,it has been exactly 20 years..

Yeehaaa !

Quite and incredible motorcycle..

welcome carl ! its funny how the motorcycle bug stays inside of you for so long and all it takes is that slim glimpse or feel of being back on one that makes you have to have it ! im only 22 and i think of all the time and money i wasted on my cars when i could've been on a cbr all this time and i get mad  lol so wether your 22 or 62 you can still get on a honda and fall in love all over again !

Welcome Dragon.

Yep, so the bike-bug bit you too, huh?   20 years is a long time -- so are you amazed at how much faster bikes are today than in the 80's or what?!      Be safe, have fun.

I've always Kept an eye on what is going on in the motorcycle world...so I am not surprised at how much the technologie has advance...What was funny ,is when i got  on my friend's bike , i started riding and all was still there, coordination , I was able to judge the braking distance as before and the perception of speed was still ( don,t kid yourself it's different than in a car).. that is what made me go ahead and get another one.

By the way I am a cyclist also and I went down a hill on my road bike at 110kph thats is 65 miles an hour and let me tell you on 23mm wide tires going that fast is way much scarier than on my CBR at the same speed..at that speed the CBR is still sleeping.

Also I brought my wife for a ride yesterday..for a first timr she was able to follow ( leaning and all that, she is only 5.3 and 110 pds , not much of  impact in the backseat ) very well..the only complaint she has is ( this is her words) she can't see the speedometer and be a backseat driver(LOL) I love my bike even more LOL.

Tell her she can still yell at you to pull over and ask for directions!

Thanks .. here is two pics that my wife took today , as you can see the bike is very very clean and in good shape . Also i was wondering it came with the supertrapp slipon's ,what would be the possible gain in horsepower from those ?
Thanks !
