I know this has probably been talked about a million times, and there must be tons of How-Tos, but how do I get both my stock headlights to turn on instead of just one? If someone can send me a link to a How-To, that would be great.

I can't remember where the link was, but you will end up replacing your H7 bulbs with H4's.  You have to get the H4 plugs from a civic, and then I don't remember what you do with the wiring.  Do a search for f4i H4 headlight conversion, I bet you can find something.

On a more serious note...there is a way to replace the bulbs to dual filament.  The only downside is that the housing assembly for the bulbs are different for the low beam and high beam, so no matter what, one side would appear to be brighter than the other.  And of course, you'll have to rewire.

I thought the bulbs put out the same amount of light, they are both 12v55w ..
I thought all you really have to do is aim the high beam lower and then just leave the high beam on all the time ??
Correct me if im wrong ...PLEASE ....

I have tried leaving my brights on all the time.  I swapped my bulbs out with the silvania silverlight bulbs though, so I get people bright lighting me alot.

the reflectors are different between Hi and lo. The patterns are different. The H4 swap looks great, but it may not be ideal.

I switched to a 6000K (or 6500) HID and a silverstar highbeam (faster startup than a ballasted HID).  There is plenty of light now with the stock reflectors, but I would not just aim down my high beam, when you want the high beam to light up a dark country road, you won't have it. Ideally, you want a real HID ready reflector, because the stock reflector is sloppy with HID, but I don't think my light bothers too many drivers.

Do some searches on your options, this subject has been covered really well and you'll be able to make a good decision when done.  Good luck.

So would you be able to purchase a broken headlight off of ebay for couple bucks, take the low beam reflector out and swap it with your hi reflector ?
would that work ?

They look very similar, but you wouldn't have a high beam then..I think.

The low beam reflector is optimized for low beam, ditto for the high beam. With two low beams you will get great low beam performance, but high beam would probably suck. I know when I want high beams at night there is a reason, I wouldn't want to lose that.

So it would work ?? but you would just loose your high beam right ?

Replace both bulbs with the brightest h7 bulbs you want to put money on. Raise your low beam a couple of turns and lower your high beam until it maches. I leave my highs on all the time. The level of my lights are right below the side mirrors on my wifes Durango from about 5 feet back. I never get flashed and I can see for miles. Only thing that sucks is the blue high beam indicator is bright at night.

yeah a million and one times... and here is how you do it

there is a switch on your left handle bar that has the high low beam switch. if you put it in the "high" position both lights will stay on. this may sound difficult to do so if need be i can do a big "how to" write up.

Just get an HID kit if you are looking for brightness.  But it does look cool with both on as low beams.  My buddy did the conversion.  I will try to get the instructions from him today.

Thanks for all the replies (except for ARay...that was absolutely useless). HID is out for now as I want to do it the right way and maybe get a couple of TSX projectors. Unfortunately, I don't have the money for that right now. I was looking for a way to replace the existing right-side bulb with a dual filament bulb, then lower the headlight a little so that both left and right are level and then wire the headlights in such a way that both left and right turn on as default with the addition of the high beam on the right side bulb (for those dark country roads). Anyone know how to do that.

Hey guys .. if anyone wants to try my idea of putting a low beam reflector on your high beam side, and see if that would work without doing much ..
I have a low beam reflector laying around if anyone wants it ..

Dual Headlight mod is a NO-NO unless you dont mind open up the ignition switch and resolder the connection over again.. I did the mod last year and it draws too much current so one of the connection was broken off and lead to NO HEADLIGHT for me. It took me days before i found the source to that problem and correct it so reconsider before doing it....
This is the link to How-To section, read the whole post first before doing anything...
