Ok, i'm new to this forum. also a newb when it comes to motorcycles. i have been a huge honda fan. i drive an Acura RSX-S that i modified and spent lots of money.

i had the yamaha r6, but it got stolen after 3weeks.

4months later, i bought the 07 honda cbr1000rr red/black.

Now, i'm looking for a set of front signal lights.  i'm looking for something that's visible when your standing infront of the bike. so far i've only seen aftermarket signal lights that are placed inside the stock hole through the body.

anyone know where i can get the signal lights?

Thanks in advance.

I wanted the exact same type of setup; where you could see them from the front. I picked up a set of Lockhart Phillips signals from a local dealer for about $20, but you could probably get them just about anywhere online from motosport.com dennis kirk chapparal etc...
They have a clear lens and do not act as running lights, only turn signals. here's a pic of mine:

the bad thing about that is that if the bike fall on it side the first thing that is going to hit is the TURN SIGNAL. Get some Frame Slider first

I forgot to mention that if you go with the lockhart phillips like mine, you'll need the adapter plates to fit inside the hole. They're also made by lockhart phillips.

Thanks, but i don't kinda like the signal lights, sticking out that much, though. then again, i like that no running lights. cuz right now, whenever i'm following my friends at night, they always think i'm a cop.

I recently bought and installed a set of Hotbodies flush mount front signals not thinking about visibility from the front. The best option I have seen so far is mirrors with signals built in. I read a post where someone installed a set of stock GSXR mirrors with signals built in on a cbr1000rr. It looked pretty good and the visibility from the front has to be pretty good. You just have to get over the fact that you have suzuki parts on your honda! I will find the post and put it up on here.

I just put on some leds made by Watsen Design. Its a flush mount that can be seen both in front and from the side. BTW, you dont need anything else for them, just put them on and plug them in. You can check them out at http://www.baysideperformance.com

ok, i finally received the proton signal lights, yesterday. installed it today. took about 1hr-1.5hrs. that's probably beause, i had to find the right set of tools in the garage while installing.

my feedback: i love the fitment, no drill/no cutting. i hate the fact that they provide such small washers, that it's barely hanging on to the fairings. i replaced it with a bigger sized washer for better grip on the fairings. it's bright, very noticeable. other than that, my money was well spent.
