I was in Dayton for bike week and had never seen so many bike with nos on them. I now am thinking about putting a NOS kit on my 05 1000rr repsol any info or advice, will it destroy and damage my bike if I do a 30-60 dry shot system. Please help me out. I dont need the power but would be cool to have it. Thanks

I had a wild hair one day an wanted to do the nos to but couldnt find anywhere to hide the bottle. So i just gave up on it. I think the bottles hangin off are not very attractive so if i couldnt hide em then I didnt want it.

From what I hear Dry systems are not worth the cost , go Wet

Its going to damage you engine whenever you use it. Not a huge amount at one time, but if you you it a low you may end up blowing an engine or throwing a rod. If you do go NOS, go wet, not dry. Wet will give better response, less damage. You can mount a SMALL bottle my the shock, or on the swingarm. So states are illegal to have NOS o even a bottle visable, so check that out too. I dont think its a good idea just for looks toe deal. If it is just foor looks, just throw a bottle on there.

How about cutting ur pipe short and sticking the NOS under the tail.... or maybe getting an aftermarket rear seat cowl and cutting out the shape of the bottle in it and sticking the bottle up there.... in the end though... NOS on a bike aint really worth it unless u drag race.. but its a pain in the butt to upkeep, it f**ks with ur bike, at least so i hear. i must admit though having the purge is really cool looking

I hear a wet system is way better and less likely to damage the engine.

Quick question, why would you want to put a Nos kit on your Repsol? Do you drag, or is it just because you saw a lot of bikes with Nos kit's at Dayton?
