I am about to buy a new bike. I have been riding for about a year on a F4I.

well id say the cbr 600rr im a little bias though, unless you are comfortable with alot more power id go with the cbr1000rr not a gixxer fan at all but go with what ever is more comfortable for you

600RR. Great power. Great handling. Some forgiveness. You'll probably never ride it at it's limits but it'll handle great in the twisties. You won't need the extra power of a 1000 for anything.
Don't do the Suzuki. Just my .02.

Well if it is a WHOLE year then you are ready for the 1000RR because you have definitely outgrown that puny and pitiful F4i.

I agree with sixhunderrr on this one. I have the '07 600RR and LOVE IT. Occasionally I find myself wanting a little more power on the straights ...but I know its only going to catch up to me eventually and get me in trouble. Very Rarely do I ever find myself over 130 mphs so I'm thinking about some spocket swaps to solve that problem. Not to mention the bike is completely stock so I can add aftermarket exhaust on to help too. In the twisties the bike is AMAZING!! Forgiving and Nimble. I have not yet and probably will never reach the full potential of this bike in turns on the street. The bike really does need to be on a track ..lol... You will not be disappointed.

ever wonder why most stunters ride gxr's?
cause racers throw em away when theyre done crashing them...
go with the 600rr and save yourself some trips to the hospital
