About a week ago i ordered the flush mount turn signals and put them in, they blinked kinda fast but no biggie really. Well i just got in my integrated tail light from Clear Alternatives....and with the 2 aftermarket turn signals put on they dont blink anymore...well they do its just so fast it doesnt look like it. We put all the resisters on and still the same problem? Has anyone else ran into similiar issues or might be more knowledgable and be able give some advice. Anything would be appreciated . Thank you.

Are you sure you're installing the resistors correctly?

the other alternative is a universal relay.

What is a unervisal relay?

what do you think it is?

It's a relay that works universally. Reg lights, LEDs, xenon, whatever. doesn't matter. the universal relay will make it blink at DOT rates.

google it.

Man take it easy Slugger, he obviously didn't install the resistors the correct way, seeing as how the problem persists, don't need to bust his balls on the universal relay too.

Aiight Stock, you've got to hook up the resistors in parallel, not in series which is what you most likely did. That means you take one end of the resistor and hook it up with the ground splice, and the other end you hook up with the (+) splice. So your wires should look like an "H' pattern, rather that two separate wires.

Something like this:

connector ground---R---turn signal ground
--------------------E
--------------------S
--------------------I
--------------------S
--------------------T
--------------------O
connector (+) -------R ------turn signal (+)

NOT:

connector ground---resistor---turn signal ground

connector (+)---resistor---turn signal (+)

Hope this helps
