Just got my CBR600RR. It's my 14th bike and feel that anything over a 600 is useless. Back in "the day", 900s were no were near as fast as today's 600s. For the street, my CBR600 will beat anyone out there. I'm a cornering guy, not a dragstrip racer.
But, that's just a little about me and why I chose a 600 over a 1000. My last bike, Hayabusa, never got more then a quarter throttle and I considered it a waste of motor. Handled like crap also. Beast.
Straight line excelleration was great, but that's not what I'm about. I'm a corner guy and the new 600 is the best.
Well, good to meet you all and hope to have great future conversations (and arguments:) )

Well put, I'd say in 99% of my riding I never hit full throttle on my 600, I believe I have to re-grip to do it. This is a point lost on so many people. Welcome to the site.
