I finally (after 10 years) got a new bike! It is the 06 1000rr.

I played with the suspension ans tuned it to my liking, now I just want to fix it up imagewise. Can anyone help with recommendations on fender eliminator kits and sliders?

You know JefRR, I was actually going to buy a used 05 movistar edition (300 miles!) that I fell in love with at the dealership, but they wanted ridicoulos terms to finance it.
So the guy told me that he could me a better deal on an 06. They had just gotten 3 in the day before. So after everything was signed I rode it home, and heve not regreted in one bit, it is fantastic!

Het guys, any suggestions on proper breaking in? I have a total of 113 miles on it and I have not gone over 5000 rpm.

Read the manual, but general feeling around here is that under 6K rpm for the first 500 mi is a solid break-in. Then get yourself an oil change and get the chain adjusted. After that I change the oil every 2K mi even though the manual says 5K. Also, after your break-in oil change make sure you specify the synthetic honda oil. It's $7/qt, but well worth it.

Congrats and welcome.

Don`t stick keeping it under any specific revs other than redline, Most important thing to do with a new engine is vary the revs through all gears, and don`t labour the engine by going slow in a high gear. (40 in 6th etc) And either get it to a dealer or change the oil and filter yourself at 600 miles.
