i saw that vid a while ago and have been looking for it since joining this site. glad someone found it. if he knew what he was doing he could have got out of that.

Yep. No countersteer, hardly any lean. I think he actually tried to steer left while leaning left, and that's what caused his front end to jump like that.

Good thing he didn't go over the wall, that kinda looked like a drop off on the other side.

I think he was preparing the downshift when the cam went to his left hand. Then he sped up, let go of the throttle to try to correct his target fixation and then hit the throttle again while his bodys' center of gravity was in motion and induced the headshake. More or less he was target fixated let off the throttle and jumped back on it to speed out of the corner, then the rest is history. I could be wrong.

i believe i read somewhere that that was his ride home from the dealership, he bought matching gear while he was waiting for the bike paperwork to go through, because he had to have tags before he bought the bike...

Definate repost, but a great deal can still be learned from it, especially for the newbies. Don't panic, and DON'T TARGET FIXATE . Look where you want to turn. See how he tries to put his leg down, for whatever reason, instead of leaning .

The clip I saw before ended just after he hit the wall, didn't show his landing like this one.

I dont know what you guys are talking about with the Target Fixation on the wall.... Looks to me like he downshifted to speed up faster as he was taking a corner and the tires were still cold, Causing the rear tire to slip (while leaned to the left) and he paniced trying to straighten the bike and didnt continue turning. Thats why he hit the wall.

So it goes like this......Happy Day with my nice new bike...I think I will show off a little and hit this corner at a higher speed than what I am going. Time to Downshift....Cram the gas and lean......OOOOOHHHH SHHIIITTT my tire slipped because I was being stupid and its cold.....Now I have to straighten it up.....another OOHHHH SHHIITTTT....There is a wall im my path now because I am no longer turning. SMACK.... Thank goodness I bought all this gear.

As for where its at....The video says "Moto Psycho UK"
