He is right... don't use the wires with stripes on them, they are for the running lights. The colors are solid blue and orange. The little blue things are so you can splice into the factory wiring without having to cut it.

It is when you don't line up the two pegs by the head light.

Yea I wrestled with the front cowl for quite some time tryig to get it back on. Then i popped it into place on the brackets where you connect the mirror and the windscreen, after that it was a breeze.

There is a trick to it... once you figure it out, it snaps back on like butter.

Step 1 both sides on

Step 2 Connect all vent ducts to the nose piece.

Step 3 Tilt so the bottom triangle cups fit into their spots in the mid fairing.

Step 4 Line up the pins next to your head lamps.

Step 5 Press the nose back until the mirror mounts line up.

Step 6 Try and remember why you took the damn thing off in the first place.

You're finished... easy.

You can't miss it. I forget which is which, but you only have them on one side. Green is the ground wire (connect black) and the solid blue and orange are your signals. The blue/orange with the white strip are marker lights.

ok i know im a lil late to check this thread out. but now im intrested.. how much are they? and how do you get the front fairing off??

They cost just under $70 shipped. I paid 64 something total.

The front comes off by removing the 6 hex bolts on the mid fairing. Then the mirrors, they are actually the main thing that holds the front together. After that, you have to remove the inner covers (the pieces under you clip ons). There is a plastic rivet that screws out and they snap off of the tank. I’ve found for me… it’s easier to disconnect the vent ducts from the fairing. You have, I think… 8 more plastic rivets that hold them in place. After that you have two post near the head light that hold the fairing in place. Pull straight forward and it will fall off. I place a foam sponge and clean towel on top of the fender and let it rest on that. You still have three connectors to disconnect. One going to the back of your speedo and the other two are on the left side.

Getting it off is easier than putting it back on. I line up all of the vent ducts then slide the nose back on to the posts. Line up the mirrors and you’re golden. Be careful not to pinch any wiring or let the vent ducts fall out of place. It’s easier with two people, but I do mine by myself all the time now.

Post if you have any questions and let us know how it works for you.

Bro how do the hotbodies flushmounts secure to the bike are they a cheap adhesive foam or a bolt? The reason Im asking is I just recieved these flushmounts I bought off ebay and they are junk. I am going to piss on them and put them in my garbage disposal. No honda deserves a part of this quality even close to it.

The ones I got have a bolt/nut that secure them to the fairing. Thus they are flush. They also are shaped so that the cover then forming of the plastic from the stock ones I removed.

i might have missed it but for those of you that have rear led lights too when u installed the hot bodies did you need to put resistors in or not? Just wondering if i have to put some in. Thanks

What I have read if you have led on the back and front then you need resistors. If you only have them on the front (ie my bike) if you don't have resistors then they will blink really fast.

Another trick to getting the front fairing back on and secure is after sliding the bottom part in by the radiator (the 4 rivots). Take the top of it and press it onto the bracket's the hold the mirror! Mine was a bitch to install because i also had a new fairing so the intake ducts and the lights all had to come off and transfer. But the end result is flawless, i know they way they come in the mail they look like junk. But they are a quality product. Plus they look wicked as hell!
