186mph indicated, and by design that's all it's going to indicate, even though rpm's keep going slowly up....

wow i got to run my bike down a air strip and it maxes at 176mph (indicated) at 15,200 rpm (redline) in 6th gear on my 06 600rr stock gears.....you guys are scard haha just playing i was in a pretty controlled enviroment and i had on full leathers. I couldnt imagine 200mph.....

i wish i had a empty air strip around my area... i would wanna run it so bad..

i have only gone 135mph...  my friend went 160mph on his fz6 and his helmet was bout to fly off he said. haha

Y'all nuts. The airstrip folks are only slightly less nuts than those running those speeds on public roads. Please ride safe.

I've got a new 07 thou. I've had it up to 110...woopie. I could take it up to 150...why? Hit a rock, some small animal......and die. I bought this bike to corner, isn't that what it's all about? Any thou bike can go fast but who cares. These bikes are made for the twisties.

Jason, I was looking over past posts and came across your reply. I've gotta ask, what happened with your crash at 140 and are you ok?

I DID 186 IN A CONTROLLED EVIRONMENT.  I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING THAT FAST ON ANY HIGHWAY WHERE THERE MIGHT BE ANY CARS.  JUST BE SAFE WHEN YOU GET STUPID.  THERE IS A TIME AND A PLACE FOR EVERYTHING.
