There was a recall on 04 speedometers because they were inaccurate. I'd take your bike to a Honda shop and check to see if your bike is affected because there is no way you were going that fast dan.

well im positive that my busa speedo is correct and my pops was on the 06 1krr and we were doing slightly over 180 which after reading this post I also verified with my gps that I use when I fly in my mooney indicated 181.4 as my top speed.

Yeah, some of you mofos are crazy! Fastest I hit was about 120 on the track and that was enough for me. Did 100 on the highway once or twice and even that's enough.

Indcated 177 on pensylvania turn pike irly in the morning with no trafic. The scary part is that it wasn't verry scarry to me. 04 moded 1000rr

Just went 174 mph today on numerous occasions and could not get past it, running almost a mile at that speed. Although I'm slightly a big guy at 235 pounds, if that has anything to do with it... Anybody else run over that?

the fastest I've got to is 145 and that was plenty good for me. Maybe I'll get the chance to go faster one day, preferably in controlled environment.

176 indicated in my dad's 04 porsche c4s (yes he was with me)

seems to have turned to "how fast have you gone"
My brothers bike (cbr1krr), I've only had to 133, due to traffic. buddies 07 yama R6 up to 148ish and sisters 06 Niss 350Z 149ish, and it seemed to have quite a bit left in it. Ran out of room. My brother said he had his 1krr up to 170 though last summer, and it had some left.
